In the News

I attended a writing workshop a few months ago. The workshop was hosted by the Midwest Writers. It was a wonderful experience, quite possibly the best writing conference I've attended because of all the one-on-one attention my manuscript received. More about the conference can be found in the Angola newspaper

Researching

Right now I am researching an appropriate magazine to send my first nonfiction piece too. It's an interesting piece, and I want to make sure I target the right mag. But I thought I'd take a break from researching to post two more Associated Content links, in case you're interested.

Patience...it's a virtue

Here I sit, like a bird in the wilderness
Bird in the wilderness, bird in the wilderness...

If you know that tune, hum along. It is so very hard to wait for 6 months on a publisher. I understand it's the name of the publishing game, but it doesn't make it any easier. I can status query in about two weeks on my middle grade novel, and then move on if need be. Of course, it would be great if I didn't need to move on.

On other exciting writing notes, you can view one of my crafts and one of my recipes this month on these two sites:
